Living in Wakefield offers residents a rural feel and most residents own their homes. In Wakefield there are a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, and parks.. I used to live right near Thornes Park, very nice place. As someone else said, you get more for your money in Wakey than Leeds. Lots of nice bars and restaurants in Wakefield too - plus you can be in Leeds in 12 minutes.. Wakefield is a lovely place. I'd stay away from Eastmoor, when I used to live in Eastmoor I heard all the rumours about.
